Ramblin New Year

Back again! It has been months...to be honest, half a year, since my last blog post.  I would erase all the old ones and start all over, if they didn't contain such cool stories and memories of last year.  So, life intercedes, and brings me back again.

A lot has happened...and changed since my last post, that's for sure.  With the release of the new EP and putting together a new band project, along with lessons coordinating at EatMyBeats and switching my daughter over to homeschool...it gets slightly overwhelming.  But I don't think I've ever been as excited, or as optimistic, as I am right now about 2016.  So many promising things on the horizon...so many amazing people to share them with.

My main goal for this year is to get booked for at least two fair/festival events per month.  Which is a lofty goal, since I've not played that circuit very much and I am my own promoter/booking agent. These things are competitive...a lot about who you know.  So, wish me luck on that.  My band mates are incredible and I'm so excited to get out there and play for lots of folks.

Thanks to Jerry Henry at Alabama Music Office, I've got an interview with an awesome hunting site coming up this month...really looking forward to that.  I'm gonna try to get a good buck before then so I'll have something good to brag about.

There are also several VERY cool things happening in February...which I'll share as soon as I get all the details.  Stay tuned.

Once again I thank God and all those who support me...I am seeing the benefits of all my hard work...and won't slow down now.  I'll catch back up later this week.

Should old acquaintance be forgot?...I think not.
